''The Morning Spark''
The Morning Spark is designed to help you make connections before starting your work day and is open to all members of the Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday morning each month from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at various locations.
Meetings usually include networking and a continental breakfast, followed by introductions from everyone, a business presentations by the host, and time to exchange business leads and information at each meeting.
The Morning Spark begin at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 9:00 a.m. The doors open and refreshments are available at 7:15 a.m. to provide you with an opportunity to network with members and guests. At 8:00 a.m. our Ambassador MC begins the program. Everyone is invited to do an introduction, state their business name, and give a tag line about their business. The tag line is a great opportunity to tell everybody what you do and help them remember you. Introductions are followed by a short presentation by the host and the presentations are followed by announcements or shout outs as time permits. These are kept to no longer than 30 seconds and can include thank you’s and special promotions. We end each meeting with business card drawings for door prizes provided by the hosts and any prizes brought to the meeting by member businesses.
The Morning Spark is a program of the Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce. To attend regularly, your company must be a member of the Chamber of Commerce. If your company is not currently a member, you are invited to attend two Morning Spark events as a guest before joining the Chamber.
The Morning Spark networking events are held at a different locations, and often include activities planned by the host that brings a unique experience to each meeting. Locations are subject to unexpected changes so please verify the location and address through the online events calendar the day before. You may attend Morning Spark events as frequently as you'd like. Experienced members find that they receive the greatest benefit if they attend regularly, but if your schedule only allows you to come occasionally, that’s fine too.
Hosts and Co-hosts
Any member of Chamber of Commerce may be hosts and co-hosts for the Morning Spark Meetings. There is no fee to host, and it provides you an excellent opportunity to update the local business community about your business and visibility as an active member of your Chamber. There is a small financial commitment as the host is responsible for all food and beverages, as well as décor and 1 or 2 door prizes. If you are interested in this opportunity, contact Jennifer Keenan, Program and Events Manager at email@example.com or 503-682-0411 x104.
